This year the Rockingham Community Association has run a supplementary school on Saturday mornings during the summer term – leading up to exam time. The aim is to help children and young people from the Rockingham Estate (aged 8-16+) with their homework and preparing for exams. The lessons which have mainly focused on Maths and Science have been led by experienced local teachers. The Saturday School has been a great success with over 30 young people attending.
